Which ArtCraft app should I use?
For MP4 video editing, choose FilmCraft. PhotoCraft edits images, VectorCraft handles vector graphics, WordCraft is a word processor, and GridCraft is the spreadsheet app. These are separate Crafting Apps in the ArtCraft directory; one app’s features do not establish another app’s compatibility.
FilmCraft Online is an independent browser host of the official FilmCraft Web v0.6.0 release. It is not the ArtCraft team’s website, launcher or AI-generation studio. This tool imports, edits and encodes locally; it does not call a paid AI model.

FilmCraft in a browser or a Windows download?
The official FilmCraft page lists Windows desktop installers and, under Other downloads, a self-hostable Web build. A missing Web badge in an app directory is not evidence that this release has no browser build. This website hosts that pinned Web release; it does not install the Windows application. For native desktop use, choose the current installer and release notes on the official page.

What have we actually tested here?
Our browser tests cover importing a short H.264 MP4, playing it, keeping the first part of one linked video/audio clip, and exporting a downloadable H.264/AAC MP4. The homepage includes a self-generated 1280×720 input of 10 seconds and its 5-second output. We also verified 360×640 portrait exports in Chrome and a short Safari sample. Current evidence is from macOS browsers; native Windows and Linux applications were not tested here.
Encoding runs on your device and can take minutes. Start with a short H.264 MP4 and keep the tab open. Long videos, 4K, arbitrary codecs, mobile editing, multi-clip joining and recovery after refresh are not verified. We do not add a FilmCraft Online watermark to exports. Wider features advertised for the native application are not guarantees for this browser release.
Is editing and downloading really free?
Yes: import, preview, the quick trim control, MP4 export and download are currently free. There is no account, card, credit balance or paid AI-generation step. Source audio is kept with the trimmed clip; no voice or music is generated. Optional analytics requires your consent and is separate from editing. Local OPFS copies can remain until you clear this site’s browser data.
Is WordCraft the ArtCraft Excel app?
WordCraft is for word processing. The official directory identifies GridCraft as the spreadsheet and data-analysis app. A table inside a document is different from a spreadsheet workbook. We have not tested Excel-file compatibility in either app; check the current GridCraft documentation and your own workbook before relying on it.
Where can I download PhotoCraft for Windows?
Use the official PhotoCraft page, which describes a Rust image editor and lists Windows downloads. PhotoCraft is a different project from this video editor. This site does not host its installers and has not tested the current PhotoCraft desktop or browser release.

Where is the official VectorCraft GitHub?
The project repository is storytold/vectorcraft. Use that repository and the official app page for releases and format support. VectorCraft is for vector illustration; use FilmCraft when your input is a video timeline.
GetArtCraft apps, GetCraft and reviews: what should I check?
The official Crafting Apps directory is getartcraft.com/apps. The third-party mbirnbach/getcraft repository is archived and directs readers to storytold/craft-launcher. Check the exact publisher and destination rather than relying on similar names. ArtCraft’s AI studio, the app launcher and this independent FilmCraft browser host are different entry points.
